Lloyds TSB is offering an Airmiles Duo Credit Card to new customers in time for the Easter break.

The rewards will give customers the chance to collect up to 3,000 more Airmiles by using the credit card to make their everyday purchases.

For every £1 spent on the Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card, customers receive one Airmile to go towards a flight for the Easter or summer holidays.

“Being rewarded for shopping and everyday spending can only be a positive, so now more consumers can accelerate their accumulation of Airmiles,” said Paul Williams, Lloyds TSB loyalty credit cards and spend head.

An additional offer is available for new customers who complete a one-off £1,500 balance transfer to Lloyds TSB, of 1,500 Airmiles, making a total of 3,000 Airmiles available to those who use the Duo Credit Card for purchases too.

The offer runs for six weeks, from the 30th March, although customers can collect one Airmile per £1 for the first three months of opening the account only.

“As the weather warms up and thoughts turn to holidays and excursions we’re delighted to be able to help our customers get even closer to their summer dreams, simply through their everyday spending,” added Andrea Burchett, The Mileage Company director.

Airmiles can be used towards the price of flights to over 250 worldwide destinations, reducing the cost of a holiday abroad.  They can also be used for hotel accommodation, Eurostar breaks, Legoland Windsor, UK country cottages, and spa and golf breaks.

Travel Prepaid Money Cards

If you are planning a holiday abroad this April, then a travel prepaid money card could be a good way to carry your spending money.

There are no expensive credit or debit card fees, and it saves the holidaymaker from having to carry lots of cash.  The rate at which the currency is bought will not change either.
